Terbinafine
Antifungal for nail and skin infections
Terbinafine (Lamisil) treats fungal infections of nails (onychomycosis) and skin (athlete's foot, ringworm). Oral courses for nails are 6–12 weeks.

Periodic liver enzymes are checked during long courses.
Loss of taste is reported and usually returns after the course.
Nails grow slowly — the drug needs to be in new nail growth as it pushes out the infected nail.
