Free Delivery & Pickup

Crush Packs & Compliance Packaging

When a patient can no longer swallow whole pills, our technicians crush each verified tablet by hand into a fine powder, sealed in single-dose sachets to mix into food or drink. Bubble pack and blister packaging covers the rest.

Supporting Patients and Caregivers at Home

Managing medications becomes a critical part of compassionate care for both the patient and their loved ones. Our pharmacists work directly with palliative care teams — including physicians, nurses, and family members — to ensure medications are prepared correctly, delivered on time, and administered safely.

We provide medical information and guidance to families, helping them understand dosing schedules, side effect management, and when to contact the palliative care team. Our goal is reducing the burden on caregivers while ensuring patients receive the best possible comfort care.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Palliative Care Pharmacy Questions

We compound a wide range of palliative medications including pain management creams and gels, anti-nausea suppositories, sublingual preparations, oral sprays, and liquid dosage forms. If a patient has difficulty swallowing or tolerating a medication, we can often create an alternative form.
Crush Packs are our most common solution: each tablet is verified, then crushed by hand into a fine powder and sealed in single-dose sachets that mix into food or drink. Some medications don’t fully dissolve in liquid — those usually mix well into pudding, applesauce, or another soft food per the family or care team’s preference. When a flavoured liquid would work better for the patient, we can compound that as well.
