Venlafaxine XR

SNRI for depression, anxiety, and panic

Venlafaxine XR (Effexor XR) is an SNRI used for depression and several anxiety disorders. The XR (extended release) form is taken once a day. Stopping abruptly can cause noticeable discontinuation symptoms — a taper is important.
