Buprenorphine/Naloxone (Suboxone)

Opioid agonist therapy for opioid use disorder

Buprenorphine combined with Naloxone (Suboxone) is one of the standard treatments for opioid use disorder. The film or tablet is placed under the tongue and dissolves over several minutes. It reduces cravings and withdrawal and lowers the risk of overdose.
