Calcium channel blocker for blood pressure, angina, and rate control

Diltiazem (Cardizem, Tiazac) lowers blood pressure, eases angina, and slows heart rate in atrial fibrillation. It comes as several extended-release brands (CD, T, XC) that are not interchangeable.
