Valsartan
ARB for blood pressure and heart failure
Valsartan (Diovan) is an ARB used for high blood pressure, heart failure, and after a heart attack. The combination Valsartan/Sacubitril (Entresto) is used in heart failure.

We carry 40, 80, 160, and 320 mg, plus combination products with HCTZ and amlodipine.

A subset of generic valsartan was recalled in 2018–2019 over an impurity issue; the affected lots have been removed and replaced. Current supply is fine.
Not used in pregnancy.
