Ezetimibe
Cholesterol absorption inhibitor — non-statin LDL lowering
Ezetimibe (Ezetrol) blocks cholesterol absorption from the gut. Often added when a statin alone has not lowered LDL enough, or used alone when statins are not tolerated.
