Sumatriptan

Triptan for acute migraine

Sumatriptan (Imitrex) treats a migraine attack already in progress. Tablets, nasal spray, and subcutaneous injection are available. Best taken at the start of an attack.

We dispense 50 and 100 mg tablets, the nasal spray, and the injection. Limited number per month — chronic use may indicate a different treatment plan.
