Chlorhexidine gluconate 0.12% is the active ingredient in Peridex dental rinse. It is a topical antiseptic prescribed by dentists for gingivitis treatment and as a germicidal agent following dental procedures.
Our compounding pharmacy produces this rinse whenever Peridex is on back order or not commercially available.
Rinse/swish 15 mL of solution in the mouth for 30 seconds, twice daily (approximately 12 hours apart), or as directed by your dentist.
