What is Phenazopyridine?

Phenazopyridine (brand name Pyridium) is a urinary tract analgesic — a pain reliever specific to the bladder and urethra. It also has antiseptic properties to help fight urinary tract infections.

Our compounded capsules are available when the commercially manufactured product is not.

How to Use

Most commonly taken 3 times daily with food for 2–5 days as prescribed.

Important: Urine Discoloration

This medication will change the color of your urine to reddish-orange. Your tears may also change color. This is a normal effect of the medication's chemical structure and is not cause for alarm.

Other side effects may include headache, upset stomach, dizziness, and itching.
