Blood Glucose Test Strips

Strips that pair with home meters for blood sugar testing

Test strips are paired with a blood glucose meter to measure blood sugar at home. Each meter brand uses a specific strip. We can help you check that you have the right kind for your meter.

How the pharmacy helps

We stock common strip brands behind the counter. Many provincial benefit plans cover a fixed number per year — we can submit through your coverage. Strips have an expiry date and should not be used past it.

Access framing

Available without a prescription. Call to check availability or ask us to add strips to your pickup. Coverage may apply through Manitoba Pharmacare or private benefits.

Keep the bottle tightly closed. Do not store in humid bathrooms or hot cars. Check the expiry on the bottle.
