Insulin Pen Needles

Single-use needle tips that fit on insulin pens

Pen needles are screwed onto an insulin pen for each injection and discarded into a sharps container after one use. Common lengths are 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, and 8 mm. Most adults use the shortest available length.

How the pharmacy helps

We carry common pen needle brands behind the counter and provide a sharps container with first orders. Many benefit plans cover them.
