The prescriber determines whether aminopyridine is appropriate, what strength is needed, and how follow-up should be handled. Commercial products may exist in fixed strengths, so a compounded request must be specific to the prescription and clinically appropriate.
Follow the prescription label exactly. Do not change the capsule strength, timing, or total daily amount unless the prescriber gives that direction.
