Famotidine

H2 blocker for heartburn and ulcer prevention

Famotidine (Pepcid) reduces stomach acid by blocking H2 receptors. Lower-dose 10 mg and 20 mg are available without a prescription; higher Rx doses are used for ulcers and severe reflux.

How the pharmacy helps

We carry both OTC and Rx strengths. Famotidine has filled the role left by ranitidine after the 2020 NDMA recalls.
