COMMON QUESTIONS

Questions
Pantoprazole Questions

Pantoprazole is most effective when taken about 30–60 minutes before a meal because it works on actively secreting pumps.
After long-term use, sudden stopping can cause rebound acid. A taper or step-down is often used.
Long-term PPIs can affect magnesium, B12, and bone density. Your prescriber may review the need every year or two.
