Proton pump inhibitor for acid reflux and ulcers

Omeprazole (Losec) is one of the original PPIs. It reduces stomach acid and treats reflux, ulcers, and some H. pylori plans.

We carry 10 mg and 20 mg. A 20 mg lower-dose form is also available without a prescription as a 14-day course.

Most Omeprazole capsules can be opened and the granules sprinkled on apple sauce — confirm with the pharmacist for your specific brand.
Same drug, lower dose, intended for short courses. Talk to the pharmacist before repeating for more than a few weeks.
Omeprazole can affect Clopidogrel (Plavix). Pantoprazole is sometimes preferred when both are needed.
