Gliclazide MR
Sulfonylurea (modified-release) for type 2 diabetes
Gliclazide MR helps the pancreas release more insulin. It is used in type 2 diabetes when Metformin alone is not enough. Modified-release tablets are taken once a day with breakfast.

Skipping a meal increases the chance of low blood sugar. Take Gliclazide with breakfast.
Shaky, sweaty, hungry, lightheaded, or confused. Treat with juice or glucose tablets and call us if it happens often.
