Glucagon Emergency Kit (Baqsimi, GlucaGen)

Emergency severe-hypoglycemia kit

Glucagon raises blood sugar quickly in a severe low — the kind where the person cannot swallow safely. Baqsimi is a nasal spray; GlucaGen is an injection. Family or close contacts of any insulin-using patient should know how to use the kit.
